Here is a quick side dish before the movers come and pack everything we own into a container and send it off to sea and us into between homes limbo… with heavy suit cases stuffed with light clothing for our last weeks in sunny cali and down jackets and boots for cool Copenhagen.

Foodyear will continue, but I hope you understand that I may not be able to post as frequently the next few months. I do have some goodies lined up for you, though. So be sure to stop by once in a while. Meanwhile I’ll get settled in my new surroundings and start the next chapter in my life…

  • 2 red bell pepper
  • 2 cups / 5 dl sugar peas
  • 2 large carrots
  • 4 tbsps black sesame seeds
  • 3 tbsps soy sauce
  • 3 tbsps sesame oil
  1. Prepare the veggies by cutting them all about the same size.
  2. Fry veggies 3-4 minutes in the soy sauce and sesame oil.
  3. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds and serve. The veggies should still have a bit of crunch.
