Apple Coleslaw
Here is another recipe adapted from the magazine LIV. Simply delicious. A great summer side dish, which I have made numerous times already while wishing for warmer weather. Temps in the low 60s isn’t exactly the summer I was hoping for. Next time I make this I want to eat it outside surrounded by bbq’ing friends!
- Small cabbage
- 1 green apple
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt & pepper
- Slice the cabbage as thin as you can.
- Core the apple and slice.
- Place in a medium sized bowl, sprinkle with sugar, salt & pepper and give it a good stir.
- Make this simple dressing:
- 2 tbsps sour cream
- 1 tsbp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp mustard
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Stir the ingredients until smooth.
- Pour over the cabbage and apple and stir well.
- Sprinkle with black sesame seeds and serve.
