Apple coleslaw

Here is another recipe adapted from the magazine LIV. Simply delicious. A great summer side dish, which I have made numerous times already while wishing for warmer weather. Temps in the low 60s isn’t exactly the summer I was hoping for. Next time I make this I want to eat it outside surrounded by bbq’ing friends!

  • Small cabbage
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt & pepper
  1. Slice the cabbage as thin as you can.
  2. Core the apple and slice.
  3. Place in a medium sized bowl, sprinkle with sugar, salt & pepper and give it a good stir.
  4. Make this simple dressing:
  • 2 tbsps sour cream
  • 1 tsbp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  1. Stir the ingredients until smooth.
  2. Pour over the cabbage and apple and stir well.
  3. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds and serve.
